ISAA Combine/ Skills & Drills day is an intense event for the top 8th grade boys basketball players that want to push themselves to the next Level. The day will be a “camp-like†atmosphere composed of various skills tests for the athletes to compete against each other and showcase their talents for exposure to high school basketball programs. All players will receive official ISAA Basketball Combine shorts and shirts.
How does the combine work?
Combine is divided into three parts:
Testing, Education and CompetitionTesting all players will go through a set of standardized tests that will measure their speed, quickness and athleticism. This will give them an overall assessment of their athletic ability.
Education Players will have the opportunity to learn and leave the Combine with more than they came with. Players will all go through various basketball skill sessions, develop multiple aspects of their athletic abilities
Competition - Once all testing has been completed, all players will be assigned to teams that will compete in 5-on-5, 3-on-3 and 1-on-1 competitions along with other types of competitive activities.
