Girls Basketball Showcase Information
On Saturday, March 28, 2009 ISAA, in partnership with The Shriner's Hospital for Children is presenting the 2009 ISAA High School Girls Showcase Game.Because of their accomplishments, ISAA has invited the top 40 Philadelphia Female High School Basketball Players to particpate in this showcase. The game will be hosted at the Community College of Philadelphia, 16th Street and Spring Garden in Philadelphia. It will be an opportunity for their friends, family and fans to see these young ladies display their talents along with some of the other top female athletes in the area.
There will be two showcase games played. The Underclassmen Game (Freshman - Juniors) will be @ 1PM followed by the Senior Game @ 3PM. The games will be followed by a brief Award/Scholarship Presentation to the Most Valuable Player from each team.
We also recognize that everyone is not capable of being an athlete. Many children have the desire to become great athlete; however, physical illness prevents them from accomplishing that goal. We know the importance of athlete's participating in community service. As part of this showcase, the players will have an opportunity to join us on Saturday march 21, 2009 as we spend a day at the Shriner's Hospital for Children doing various activities with the patients.
